Yoga training, philosophy & experience
Beth Wood is an established teacher of more than 15 years. She has offered private and corporate classes, family yoga and yoga events in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Istanbul. Beth Wood has trained with some of the yoga world’s most respected and renowned teachers including: Sarah Powers, Shiva Rea, Richard Freeman, Tias Little and Sally Kempton.

Yoga is a compassionate practice of inquiry that acts as a conduit to connect us to our layers of experience; they may be physical, energetic, emotional or spiritual. As a system the primary focus is on sensation; it’s as simple as that. With continued practice, a vocabulary grows that gives a deeper understanding of who we really are. It is an individual realization that evolves at the practitioner’s own pace.
Beth has recently completed an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology. Her area of research explored how yoga works, examining the biological mechanisms and physical practices that increase and sustain well-being.
